We went to the breakfast buffet at our hotel after we woke up. I had some orange juice and muffins, which were quite delicious. After that, we all met together in the lobby of the hotel to start our day. We walked together then took the London tube(the British subway)to our first destination. This was the globe theater, a recreation of the place where many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed. We got an enthusiastic tour from our wonderful tour guide Katie and were able to sit in the audience and even saw a fight call for a play happening onstage. We then hung out in the museum and gift shop afterwards.

After that, we headed to a Mediterranean restaurant for lunch, where we ate vegetables, hummus, kebabs, and other yummy foods. We then walked together through bustling areas of London to see “Weathergirl” at the SoHo theater, an engaging one woman show about a California weather woman. The show was hilarious, technically striking, and emotionally impactful. After that we stopped by Battersea park, where we walked through the beautiful paths and greenery as the sun set. We took some pictures and enjoyed watching the ducks and the dogs off their leashes. From there we walked to a Thai restaurant to eat our dinner.

Our final activity for the evening was watching “Bungalow” at 503 theater, a story about an Anglo-Indian family and their house as they proceed through their lives. The show was a very intense and emotional ride, which we overall enjoyed. After finishing the show late, we took a bus and tube ride back to our hotel. On the tube, we ran into some very intoxicated and jolly gentlemen who entered in a large group singing loudly onto our train. We eventually made it back to the hotel where the group bought some water, snacks, and settled in for sleep in the evening.
