For one full week AVPA/Theatre Juniors and Seniors will experience an intensive immersion into British theatre. Students will see a variety of West End, Off West End, and Fringe shows and visit some of the most famous theatre history sites in the world with a special tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and his birthplace in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Continuing our partnership with The British American Drama Academy, students will also take part in a Master Class taught by BADA faculty.
London offers a diverse history and many opportunities for cultural exploration. Some of the experiences we will have together:
Breakfast will be at your leisure in our hostel each morning, lunch (not included) will be on the run at markets or food courts, and dinners will be at some of London's most exciting restaurants!
After our non-stop flight to London, we will be using the world-famous Tube (London Underground) as our primary means of transportation during the program. There will also be extensive walking and students can expect to walk between 5-8 miles per day.
