Hola! With a 5 hour flight ahead, we left BCA for Newark Airport at 10am. After the partial government shutdown, we were a bit worried that it would take longer than usual to get through TSA, but we thankfully got through without any complications. We grabbed lunch and our go-to airport snacks before boarding the plane. On the descent into Panama City, we were treated to a beautiful sunset welcome!
With broken Spanish and mostly English, we successfully went through immigration and were met with a rush of warm air while leaving the airport. After the bus ride to our hotel, the RIU, we enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal before heading to our hotel rooms for some well-deserves rest. Until tomorrow, adios!
