• Colori d’Italia – Italy in full color

    March 19-26, 2026

  • About

This is an educational journey through Italy, designed to combine history, culture, and hands-on artistic experiences. Over 8 days, students will explore Rome, Pompeii, Paestum, and the Amalfi Coast while engaging in drawing, and creative workshops.

Highlights include a guided tour and drawing session in Pompeii, a ceramic workshop in Vietri sul Mare, a culinary experience with local chefs, sketching in the Borghese Gardens, and an academic lecture at Temple University’s Rome campus. Along the way, students will also deepen their understanding of Italian history, architecture, and art while developing their own creative voices.

And yet, this trip is more than lessons and lectures—it’s about sharing gelato on evening walks, laughing with friends while sketching in a sunlit piazza, and discovering the magic of Italy together. It’s an adventure where education meets inspiration, where every moment becomes a memory, and where ART is not just studied, but lived.

    Rome

In Rome, students will step into the heartbeat of art, history, and culture, experiencing the Eternal City not just as visitors but as young artists and explorers. They’ll sketch at the Colosseum, tour the Pantheon, Roman Forum, and Basilica of Maxentius with a Temple University–Rome professor, and uncover artistic treasures at the Vatican City and Borghese Gallery. Along the way, they’ll wander through the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and San Carlino alle Quattro Fontane on a guided walk that brings history to life. A special visit to an art restoration school will reveal the secrets of art conservation in action. At Temple University’s Rome campus, students will connect with peers studying abroad, sharing stories and insights about what it’s like to live and learn in one of the most inspiring cities in the world.

    Amalfi Coast

Along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, students will explore Italy’s artistic and cultural heritage through immersive, hands-on experiences. Highlights include a guided tour and drawing session in Pompeii, a visit to the ancient temples of Paestum, and a stop at a local mozzarella factory. In the charming town of Vietri sul Mare, students will take part in a ceramic workshop, tour a renowned ceramic factory, and enjoy a culinary experience with local chefs—all while soaking in the region’s stunning seaside beauty and creative spirit.
