World AI Summit
About
The first-ever Global Studies program geared exclusively for our Academy for Technology and Computer Science will travel north to Montreal in April 2024 to experience the World AI Summit. Montreal is a virtual tech playground that will provide us ample opportunity to immerse ourselves in cutting edge research at some of the top CS universities in the world, interact with corporations and learn about innovative projects in the tech space, while exploring one of the most international and innovative cities in the world.
Montréal’s place at the forefront of artificial intelligence research and development is easy to spot across the city, which is home to internationally renowned think tanks and trendsetting corporations involved in ground-breaking innovation. The Canadian government chose Montréal as headquarters for SCALE AI, Canada’s AI supply chain supercluster. Companies such as Google, IBM and DeepMind all have regional offices in the city. In short, Montréal is an AI powerhouse.
An exclusive gathering of the major global influencers in AI across business, science and tech for two full days of mind-boggling innovation, heated discussions on AI policy, ethics and regulation, applied solutions for enterprise, hands-on workshops and the development of plans for advancing the application of AI for Good in the coming year.
